Christmas 2014 Photographs

Tuesday, 30 December 2014

I thought I'd share a few photographs from Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. Honestly this has been the best Christmas I've had in a long time & I owe it all to the wonderful people in my life. My dad & I spent the day together opening presents, playing with the dogs, listening to music & cooking a wonderful dinner. I was going to take a photo of it but honestly.. I couldn't wait to dig in. I then got ready to visit my boyfriend & his parents, we talked about our day, Matt showed me everything he got & then we ate some more. At 11pm, Matt & I made our way back to my house for some cheese & crackers with my dad before getting some well needed sleep.

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas. Feel free to leave links to any Christmas related posts on your blog/youtube.

I am already so excited for Christmas 2015 (:

Christmas Nail Art #2

Thursday, 25 December 2014

It's Christmas!!! I hope you're all having a wonderful day opening presents, eating lots of food & spending time with your loved ones. Even though I did this a few days before Christmas, I though I'd post it today as I'm trying to get back into my schedule. I was going to do the Santa I did last year but after a quick pinterest search, I decided to try this adorable snowman suit. It didn't come out as well as I hoped but I am still pretty happy with it.

Products I used to create the snowman suit:
Base Colour - Mua Whitewash
Scarf - Nails Inc St James & Ciate Sand Dune
Buttons - Lumiere Black

Products I used for the rest of the nails:
Base Colour - Nails Inc St James
Sparkle - Mavala Pure Diamond

The Me Time Tag

Thursday, 18 December 2014

As I haven't had enough time to post on my usual schedule, I've been trying to get at least one post done when I have some free time. While I was having a little blog browse I can across the me time tag on Angelica's blog. I really enjoy tags not only because they are quick & simple but you get to know a little bit more about my personality.

1. What do you like to watch or read during me-time?
I have recently got the 3rd series of Grimm & the 5th series of The Vampire Diaries. So I have loving watching them when I have some spare time. I'm not currently reading any books at the moment but I have been loving Kat's blog lately.

2. What do you wear during me-time?
I like to be super comfy, so I'm probably in pjs but I have recently found the comfiest pair of leggings that I have pretty much been living in.

 3. What are your favourite me-time beauty products?
When I have a bit of me time, I like to give my skin a good pamper. I adore the Amie Spring Clean Cooling Clay Mask & Garnier Goodbye Dry Moisturiser.

4. Current favourite nail polish?
I not so recently won a nail polish giveaway which included OPI Black Cherry Chutney. It is such a gorgeous vampy purple/black shade. It has been on my nails ever since!

 5. What do you eat or drink during me-time?
I am a sucker for crisps, so I'm probably munching on a few packets & as it's now incredibly cold, nothing makes me feel all warm & cosy like a Gingerbread Latte or Galaxy Hot Chocolate.

6. Current favourite candle?
I actually have two favourites at the moment, both of which I got last year for Christmas. I have been loving Christmas Wreath by Yankee Candle & the Vanilla & Roasted Chesnut candles by  No.24. They smells lovely & have really got me feeling festive.
7. Do you ever have outdoor me-time?
I don't really do anything outdoors as I just really love being warm & cosy at home.
8. Would you ever go and watch a film alone?
I personally wouldn't, only because I'm really not a fan of the cinema because I haven't had the best experiences when I have gone.

9. Favourite online shop?
I love browsing Ebay, the bargains are insane but I have recently discovered a shop called Red Bubble which sell tee's, home decor, tote bags etc. that have some amazing independent artwork on them.

10. Anything to add? What else do you do during me-time?
I don't get a lot of me time but when I do, I just like to relax. I spend my time taking photographs, doodling, listening to music, watching my favourite tv series or playing a video game. I wear comfy clothes & am usually make up free or if I have a lot of time, I'll try to create an amazing look that I can take my time with. Oh & I drink a lot of latte's/tea/coke & probably eat more than I should.

Have you done the me time tag? Leave me a link below, as I'd love to read what you do when you have some time to yourself.

Urban Decay Naked Palette

Tuesday, 9 December 2014

This is a palette I have lusted after for so long! It's absolutely stunning & a great 'do it all' palette. For me, I could want to wear a really pretty, neutral eye & then the next day I could want to go all out & be more edgy. With the naked palette, I can do just that.

The eyeshadows come in a velvet case that has a magnetic closure & a small but great mirror. It also contains a double sides brush which I am yet to use.

The palette is a warm-toned neutral palette that contains 10 shimmer & 2 matte shades. The quality is incredible! They are well pigmented, buttery soft & apply like a dream. They have minimal fallout & stay in place all day long without budging what so ever. My favourites from the palette are Virgin, Sidecar & Toasted. When used together they create a lovely neutral eye that can be worn anywhere. If I want to make it a little more edgy, I add a bit of buck into the crease & darkhorse onto the top & lower lash line.

All in all, this has quickly become my go to palette. It is amazing quality & has all the shades to create both day & night looks without needing to switch to another palette.

What are your favourite shades from the Naked palette?

Charity Shop Finds #3

Friday, 5 December 2014

Unicorn Tee - Asos
Jeggings - Asda/Charity Shop
Open Knit Cardigan - River Island/Charity Shop
Flats - Shoe Zone
Glasses - Ebay

I not so recently started volunteering at a local charity shop, after finishing for the day I decided to have a look around & possibly treat myself to something as I'm trying to spend as little as possible on myself so I can concentrate on Christmas. I first picked up these gorgeous dark wash jeggings, I really liked the look of them but was a little hesitant as they are a size down from what I usually get. A few people have told me it looks like I've lost weight, so I thought I'd give them a chance. They not only fit perfectly but are incredibly comfy. I then picked up a open knit cardigan, I also sized down in this but by two sizes as it looked quite oversized. This also fits really well & keeps my lovely & warm. Both items were 99p each.

When my mum came down to visit a few weeks ago, she gave me some money for my birthday. Out of the money, I wanted to find a bag that I can wear in the crook of my arm, is a decent size & would be perfect for interviews/special occasions. While we had a look around in a few charity shops to find her a belt, I spotted this gorgeous black leather look bag & after a little inspection..I had to have it. I'm not sure what the brand is but it's such great quality. A bargain at £6.49.

Interesting little tidbit, all three items were from two different Barnardo's shops.

Have you found any charity shop bargains lately?

Blog Sale Bargains #10 | Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer - Chantilly

Friday, 28 November 2014

This is defiantly my favourite blog sale bargain! I have read a million & one reviews about the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer but as much as I wanted to try it out, I couldn't justify the price tag. I spotted the shade Chantilly on a blog sale for around £9 or £10 & I had to snap it up right there & then.

The concealer comes in a lipgloss style tube with a twist off matte black lid. It has a long wand & a doe foot applicator.

I have the shade Chantilly which is the lightest shade available, it has a slight yellow undertone.

The concealer has a thick but super creamy consistency, it covers everything from blemishes to crazy dark circles with little product & minimal blending needed. One of my favourite things about this concealer is that it is incredibly moisturising, so it doesn't cling to dry patches no matter how dry my skin is. It effortlessly glides over the skin, concealing everything that needs to be covered while giving the skin a very natural, radiant & flawless finish that lasts all day long with no creasing what so ever.

All in all, I adore this concealer even though it is a little pricey. It may become my one 'naughty' purchase as it is an amazing product. It conceals & brightens my skin perfectly without creasing or feeling heavy at all. It's great for people with dry skin & the shade range is fantastic.

Are you a fan of Nars? What is your favourite brightening concealer?

Wishlist #31 - Happy Birthday To Me

Saturday, 22 November 2014

I'm not sick anymore! *Happy Dance* It was a horrible experience, it's usually pretty bad but has never lasted for nearly two whole weeks before D: I have not so recently started volunteering at a local charity shop which I'm really enjoying & with a bunch of other things going on at the moment, I'm not sure when I will be able to blog properly again but as it's my 21st birthday on Tuesday, I thought I'd share the few things that I would like to receive. I never really want much for my birthday, I'm always much more excited for Christmas. I always prefer to get the box set instead of watching the series on tv as I just can't watch one episode at a time. Both The Vampire Diaries & Grimm have been on my wishlist for a while & asked for them a little while before my birthday. I have gotten back into reading & have heard amazing things about Gone Girl, I usually get a bit of money so I'll probably pick up that aswell as the lovely striped notebook & scrabble mug. Can never have enough. I've seen the Tetris Lamp in a few of Emma Blackery's videos & I really love how it looks, so it would be a cool addition to my room.

So...I'm poorly.

Saturday, 8 November 2014

There wasn't going to be a post today as I'm quite poorly & it doesn't seem to be going anywhere which isn't the best thing as I have a million things that need to be done. It's always the same isn't it? I was thinking about all the things that I could do to make myself feel better & I decided it would be an interesting blog post.
  • Put on your favourite pjs, get cosy on the sofa & watch your favourite tv series/film.
  • Have lots of hot drinks. I am currently living off hot honey & lemon juice.
  • Take a nap. [ I like to sleep lots! ]
  • Have a lovely hot shower or bath & give yourself a little pamper.
  • Enjoy some homemade stew! It never fails to make me feel better.
  • Snuggle up! I love nothing more than having a cuddle when I'm sick. It's really comforting.
  • Plan some blog posts or if you feel up to it, take some photographs.
  • Make a playlist of all your favourite songs & sing/dance your heart out.

I very rarely get sick but when the colder months come around, I get one hell of..well a bit of everything. From the flu, migraines, sickness & lots of other things to ruin your day/week..It's a nightmare. I'm the type of person that will be miserable pretty much 99% of the time that I'm sick so, I always like to take time to pamper myself [if I have the energy] & keep warm as it makes me feel a lot better & less grumpy.

It's crazy how long it's taken me to write such a little post. Hopefully I will get better soon to write some posts for next week but if not, see you soon (:

What are your favourite things to do when you're poorly?

What I've Bought #21

Thursday, 6 November 2014

As Christmas is around the corner, I have been trying to limit how much money I spend on myself. I like to get all my Christmas shopping out of the way as soon as possible. I only have a few things left to get, so I decided to treat myself to a few things that I have had my eye on for a while.

I have spotted this eyeshadow palette on a ton of blogs lately & instantly fell in love. There are 32 eyeshadows that range from matte skintone shades to shimmery burgundys. There is all the shades you could possibly need to create both day & night looks no matter the season. I am yet to try any of the eyeshadows but I have swatched a few & they are incredibly soft, pigmented & utterly gorgeous.

This is another product that has been on my wishlist for a long time. I recently saw it being featured on a few blogs & I knew it was time to pick it up. I'm yet to use it but it has been swatched, it is a pale pink shade with subtle shimmer. Even though this is described as a blush, for my skintone it works better as a highlight. I'm really excited to use this as I have been after a new highlighter for a while.
I'm blaming my boyfriends mum for this purchase! A little while ago she bought a few from the range, I gave them all a good sniff & fell in love with the scent of this one. I was originally going to wait until my Candy Floss one ran out but as I was in Asda anyway, I couldn't resist. For £1 each, the Dolly's Mixtures shower gels are incredibly scented, lather nicely & linger on the skin for ages.

I find that all the nail art I want to do would look better with a white background. I decided to pick up this one from Mua as I have been so impressed with the other shades I have picked up. The formula is amazing - two coats & you are left with even, streak free nails that stay chip free for a long time. I also find that I actually manage to use up the polish & the bottle is quite small.

Have you picked up any goodies lately?

Loving Lately #6

Saturday, 1 November 2014

I've noticed that I have been reaching for a few products more often than anything else lately. I'm always changing up my products, I don't stick to the same thing for to long but with these products I haven't even thought about reaching for something else.

Tresemme Heat Defence Styling Spray
Since I cut my hair I've noticed that it needs to be styled more. I don't like to use a lot of heat on my hair but when I do, I have been loving this. It guards against heat styling tools up to 230 degrees celcius, doesn't leave any residue & dries pretty quickly. After I have styled my hair, it looks super shiny & stays frizz free. I have also noticed that the ends of my hair don't feel as dry after using heat.

Dolly's Mixtures Candy Floss Shower Gel
Oh My Goodness! This is the best smelling shower gel I have ever smelt...ever! It smells exactly like someone has just whipped up some glorious candy floss. The quality is amazing, it lathers up really well with only a small amount needed & the best part's only £1. They have a ton of other delicious scents available...I want them all.

Nip+Fab Cherry Tarte Body Butter
As much as I love the colder months, it doesn't half make my skin dry. I decided to whip out this from the back of my cupboard & I'm so glad I did. It has a really thick & creamy consistency but sinks in quickly, making it the perfect bedtime body butter. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft & has banished the horrible dry skin feeling. It also smells amazing, it is quite strong but being a lot more subtle when applied.

What have you been loving lately?

Messy Bun

Thursday, 30 October 2014

Since cutting my hair quite a bit shorter, I have noticed that I can't just give it a good brushing & let it do it's thing. It seems to curl weirdly at the ends which means that I've gotten my straighteners out a lot more than usual. I don't want to have to use heat on my hair all the time, so I have been rocking a slightly messy bun for a few weeks now. It only takes a few minutes to create which is great for when I've slept in & am rushed for time. I literally throw it into a ponytail, then into a messy bun & pin any stray bits to make it look like a little more effort has gone in haha. My messy buns never look the same, sometimes better..mostly worse. It really is a 'throw it up & play with it until it look alright' type of style which is great for those 'off duty' casual days.
What is your go to hairstyle?

NOTD | Splat!

Tuesday, 28 October 2014

It's been a while since I have attempted a nail art look. I don't really paint my nails much but if I's pretty much been chipped to hell & back before I even bother taking it off. After having a quick nail art Google search, I came across pastel splatter nail art & fell in love but as it's Autumn, I decided to change the colours up a bit & go for more darker shades. The splatter nail art is super easy to do & didn't take long at all.

What I used:
Models Own Base & Top Coat.
Nails Inc - Porchester Square.
Barry M - Watermelon, Blackberry & Berry Cosmo.
How I achieved the splatter effect:
After I applied two thin coats of Porchester Square, I put a little drop of nail polish onto the nail & used the tip of the very sharp pencil to drag it out in every direction. I cleaned off any polish left on the nib & repeated with the other shades until each nail was complete.

There are many techniques to create splatter nail art, so have a quick google search & decide what would work best for you. I think this way is definitely the cleanest but I am very intrigued by the straw method. I am excited to try different colour & size combinations very soon.
What do you think of the splatter nail art? Will you be giving it a go?

The Purrrrrfect Bag

Saturday, 25 October 2014

I take a bag everywhere I go, if I don't there is always something I end up needing. I recently went shopping with my dad to help him pick a few Christmas gifts out, I left my bag at home which means I didn't have my purse but more specifically I didn't have my Boots advantage card, Costa coffee club card or my Superdrug Beautycard. Think of the points! D: I love a good backpack/rucksack, they sit comfortably on my shoulders which means I have my hands free to do whatever they need to do. I also find that they fit quite a lot more in than any of my other bags which may or may not be a good thing... I do tend to take a bunch of stuff I probably won't need but the 'just in case' thing happens. I not so recently picked up this gorgeous cat rucksack from Asda, it was about £12 & I just love everything about it from the stitched eye & whisker detailing to the furry ears & tummy to the little metal button nose. The straps are adjustable so I can always make sure it sits as comfortably as possible & it has a drawstring & magnetic clasp feature to make sure everything is safe in your bag at all times. There is also a little zip pocket inside for any super important/hard to find items.

What I love most about this bag is that because 99.9% of my outfits are pretty casual that the rucksack goes nicely with anything I chuck on which means I don't have to swap bags a lot. I am looking for a more smarter bag for special occasions, so if you have any recommendations please let me know in the comments below.
I got the rucksack from my local Asda store but I haven't been able to find it online. So, if you do want to get your hands on this incredibly roomy, comfortable bag of adorableness then hopefully they will have it in a store near you. If you're not a cat person then they also have a dog & owl version.
What bag are you currently using?

Mac Eyeshadow - Cranberry

Thursday, 23 October 2014

Cranberry is an eyeshadow that gets a fair amount of love, especially when Autumn comes around. I was pretty late to the party as I only got my hands on this last month but I absolutely adore it. I must admit when it arrived, I was pretty hesitant in using it as it does look quite intense & not a colour I would usually go for but I have been adding a bit of Woodwinked in to the crease/outer corner & it looks amazing.

Cranberry is a gorgeous metallic burgundy shade from the Frost range. In different lights its looks like it has more pink tones. The quality is fantastic! It is incredibly pigmented but super easy to build up or blend out depending on how intense you want it to look. The eyeshadow is buttery soft, gives an even pigmented layer with one sweep & there has been no fall out or creasing to be seen. As I have oily lids, so I don't tend to forget to use primer but when I did, I was pretty surprised to see that the eyeshadow was only slightly faded. Cranberry goes nicely with so many different eyeshadow shades from creating a super intense looks with dark smokey shades to creating subtle day looks with combining it with neutral shades. A combination I've been loving is Cranberry all over the lid with a tiny amount of Woodwinked in the crease. It is such a great look for Autumn & is super quick & easy to create.

How do you incorporate Cranberry into your makeup routine?

What I've Bought #20

Tuesday, 21 October 2014

As Christmas is slowly approaching, I haven't really bought much for myself. I always like to start my Christmas shopping fairly early because it just makes it a little less stressful. I have managed to pick up a few clothing items though, some were purchased months ago & a few a little more recently, so I thought I'd throw them all into one post.

Whenever I'm in Asda, I have to check out the clothes. I found the amazing Batman tshirt in the mens section while heading to the tills. It has all the Batman logos that has ever been used on it & the quality is really great.

Asos has been a little hit & miss with me for quite a while now but in August I came across this incredible unicorn tshirt & just needed it in my life. The print & colour choices are amazing, it fits really well & the quality is just incredible.

I recently had an interview & didn't feel confident in anything I had in my wardrobe, I decided to have a look on the New Look website & came across this beautiful tunic dress. I don't usually wear dresses, I don't really think I can pull them off but as soon as I put this on, I felt incredible. The quality is really good, it's quite thick so it kept me warm when I was outside & it has pockets which came in handy to keep important items safe.

I recently went to Primark with my boyfriend & his mum, I found so many things I loved but unfortunately they didn't have my size. So, I only left with two pairs of jeans, a pair of boots & a pair of flatforms. I love Primark jeans - they are super comfy, fit well & last a long time. I needed a pair of boots to go with my interview dress & I really loved the simple silver buckle & cut out detail. I have been obsessed with the flatforms, I am a sucker for anything leopard print & they are incredibly comfortable. The only problem I have with Primark is that I do have to size down when it comes to Primark shoes though, I'm usually an 8 but I tend to have to get a 6.

Primark Ankle Boots £15
Primark Leopard Print Flatforms £8
Primark Black Skinny Jeans x2 £7
Asos Unicorn Tshirt £16
George At Asda Batman Tshirt £8
New Look Check Print Tunic Dress £22.99

So, that's everything I have bought lately. I have a massive clothing wishlist at the moment so after my Christmas shopping is done, you may be seeing another clothing haul.

Have you bought any clothing bits & pieces lately?

Wishlist #30 - The Ebay Edit

Saturday, 18 October 2014

I spend a lot of time on Ebay trying to find amazing items to make my bedroom look a little nicer. I have found a few items that I adore & couldn't resist sharing them with you.

What is currently on your home decor wishlist?

Five Favouirte Things #3

Thursday, 16 October 2014

Nescafe Gingerbread Latte
I've never been one for seasonal drinks, I tend to stick to what I know I like but when I spotted these a little while ago, I couldn't resist. It is such a warm, comforting flavour which is perfect for cozy nights in while it's cold outside. I mix a dash of milk with the power before adding the hot water & two sugars. It isn't too strong & while the ginger gives a warming kick, it isn't overpowering. I'm so glad I picked them up, I kinda wish I got more than one box though as they have become great little cold morning pick-me-ups.

Yankee Candle Wax Tarts
I become much more of a candle enthusiast when the colder weather comes around. There is nothing better than putting on your favourite pjs, snuggling on the sofa with a hot drink & a beautifully scented wax tart melting away. My favourite scents are Strawberry Buttercream, Salted Caramel & Peppermint Bark. I find that the wax tarts give off a stronger scent than a candle. They are also really easy to change - once the wax tart has solidified, I flip the dish upside down, give it a little tap & it pops out, so you can start a different one in & put the previous one away for another time!

Avatar: The Last Airbender
This is such a great series. The artwork is fantastic, the characters develop nicely throughout, there is plenty of humour, cultural referances, a good dose of sarcasm & well, who doesn't love Appa & Momo?! I also really like that people can manipulate the elements by using different forms of Chinese martial arts to bend them to their will & that there is someone who could master all four elements to basically bring world peace. Overall, it is a great series for children & adults alike.

Rabbit Ring Holder
I have seen a lot of people talking about this little beauty lately & I just had to have it. My local Home Bargains didn't have them for a while but when I went in a few weeks ago, there was a few left. At £2 it was a bargain! It looks lovely sitting on my makeup storage & holds all my rings nicely.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
This is a game that I've not only been enjoying playing alone but it's also super fun to play with other people. You are a hunter who completes quests to fight larger than life monsters. They all have different attacks, locations & specific weaknesses/strengths. With the rewards from capturing/killing the monster you can create incredible armour/weapons & equipment to make the fight easier. The more monsters you defeat, there will be more amour/weapon options. I personally like the Azure Rathalos armour & the Duel Blades. What I like most about this game is that you have to gather ingredients yourself to make the items you want, there are shops available but they may not have the specific item you want. Also, the shakalaka's are adorable & quite helpful when it comes to battles.

So, those are my Five Favourite Things. What have you been loving lately?

Sleek Contour Kit - Light & Blush - Suede

Tuesday, 14 October 2014

L-R: Contour, Highlighter & Blush swatch.

Sleek is a brand that I haven't really tried much of, I hear nothing but great things but when I see a product I want to try..there always seems to be something else that needs to be bought first. I recently added two products to my collection, one from a blogsale & the other I won. I have been reaching for them more than anything else at the moment, so I thought I'd share my thoughts.

The Contour Kit contains a matte contour powder & a shimmery pearl highlighter. Both powders are finely milled & incredibly pigmented, so you only need to use the tiniest amount. For the contour shade, I gently dab my Real Techniques contour brush into the pan & sweep it into the hollows of my cheeks & under my jaw to slim down my face & add a bit of extra definition. When applied with a light hand it creates a very natural looking shadow but if over applied it can look a little 'dirty'. To apply the highlighter, I use the Real Techniques Setting Brush & take it down the bridge of my nose, across my cheekbones & dust any excess onto my cupids bow. It creates a gorgeous ‘lit from within’ type glow without being too shimmery. I find that I can get an amazing 7-8 hour wear from both powders before noticing any fading.

All in all, even though you have to be quite cautious of how much contour powder you apply, I definitely recommend it. The quality is incredible - both of the powders blend well, have great pigmentation & the compact is great for travel as it also contains a large mirror so it's great for touch ups on the go.

The blush is a matte powder that looks more like a medium brown in the pan but when swatched it has more orange tones. The blush is a little less pigmented than other Sleek products but because of this, I don't have to worry about being light handed & it is a great option for 'no makeup, makeup days' or on days where you are going for a bold lip/eyes but want everything else toned down. The blush is finely milled & blends really well. I found that I can get around 4 hour wear time before it starts to fade.

All in all, I really like this blush. It hasn't got a intense pigmentation but that does make it perfect for anyone who likes more of a subtle blush. As it doesn't contain any shimmer, it won't draw attention to any problem areas like some shimmer based products can.

What are your favourite Sleek products?

The Flawless Base

Saturday, 11 October 2014

I am always after flawless skin, I doubt I'll ever get that naturally so finding products & tools that create a natural yet flawless base has been a dream come true.

Mixing It Up:
I wanted the lightness of a BB Cream but the coverage of a foundation, so I decided to mix the Rimmel Matte BB Cream with the Wake Me Up Foundation. When mixed together it gives the skin excellent coverage & a glowy finish while feeling super lightweight. I also find that it has a better consistency, so it blends like an absolute dream.

Correct & Conceal:
Possibly my favourite combination of products right here. The Bobbi Brown Corrector corrects my crazy dark circles & sets into a slightly tacky finish which gives my concealer something to stick to. Then I've been switching between the Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer & the Nars Radiant Cream Concealer. These both give excellent coverage, blend really well & brighten up the eye area beautifully.

Blend, Blend, Blend!
The tool that I have been using to blend my foundation, corrector & concealer is the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I use the pointed tip to blend corrector/concealer under my eyes & the rounded sides of the sponge to dab on my foundation. I like to use this both dry & damp depending on how much coverage I want. It really does give a super flawless finish to the skin when used to blend in cream/liquid products.

So that's how I have been achieving a flawless base at the moment. It also really helps to have a great skincare routine to ensure any makeup that you apply looks as amazing as it possibly can. Another thing to help makeup look great is to make sure you allow each product to properly sink in. I used to make the mistake of applying products one after the other without giving them time to sink in [usually when I've been rushed for time], so they never looked as great as they could but I also noticed that my foundation never really set properly.

What products/tools do you use to create a flawless base?
